Tagxedo

Yet again I am travelling the posts of fellow students and the internet in general on the quest for more tools to add to my toolbox! Tonight I have discovered Tagxedo via Michelle Thompson's blog post.

As I am in a little bit of a creative mood, I thought I would time how long it takes me to create a word cloud using this free site. I have mentioned Wordle previously; you can find a link in one of my earlier posts and I have my "Feel" wordle on my blog. I love this site and have used it in a number of assessments. The benefit that I see in using Tagxedo is that you can make the word cloud into any shape that you like!

And the time was... 9 minutes! In review, I would add lots more words to fill the shape and play with the image a bit to make it more visible.
