How and why ICTs can be used in education.

For my EDC3100 first assessment task, I was required to create a persuasive presentation on how ICT's can be integrated into the classroom with supportive evidence and classroom examples relevant to my professional experience context.

My presentation has been done in SpicyNodes as I was quite taken with the possibilities to be creative with them. I also find using concept mapping a really effective way to retain knowledge and link ideas together.

Why didn't I choose to present my assessment in a more controlled yet similar format like Prezi?

I chose this format for the flexibility it provides to the reader. If a reader would like to re-visit or focus on one example, then they do not have to watch the whole presentation again, rather they can just click into the node they want! SpicyNodes also enabled me to add links to external websites so that if more information is required or the reader would like to visit the resource, than that is possible.
