Focus on Practical Experience.

After completing three weeks of practical experience, I am really looking forward to becoming a teacher! Just like Ashley McNamara, I believe this was by favorite prac so far! This was my 2nd time in a year 3 class and a benefit to that was that I could compare directly compare the two different schools and classes. It also helped with my prior knowledge and expectation level of the class. A very different focus between the two classes was the style of teaching and the hidden curriculum. In this class, priority was made towards schooling the whole child. Thus focus was made every day on teaching the students to become more independent learners including encouraging them to be responsible for their own learning.
